Epoxy Systems Wood

Wood is considered an excellent material in many fields of application, including marine construction. The association of modern epoxy resins with wood has greatly enhanced its technicial potential and range of application. Sicomin laboratories has developped resins systems specifically suited for working with wood.

SR 8450

Epoxy system for tropical conditions. 2:1 mix ratio Pot life determined by a choice of 3 different hardeners. Cures at ambiant temperature leaving a shiny non-tacky surface. Adheres to all woods. Easy to sand. Excellent water and immersion resistance. Formulation without phenol or toxic amines, does not favour allergic reactions. Hardeners: - SD 8451 Slow, laminating, bonding, filling. - SD 8453 Standard, laminating, bonding. - SD 8454 Fast, coating, laminating, bonding and fillets.

SR 5550

Wood Epoxy System. Show/Hide the details of the product Wood epoxy system for marine construction: bonding, laminating and coating. Pot life determined by a choice of 5 different hardeners. Almost colorless Cures at ambiant temperature leaving a shiny non-tacky surface. Adheres to all woods. Easy to sand. Excellent water and immersion resistance. Formulation without phenol or toxic amines, does not favour allergic reactions. Can be diluted with EP 217 for the first coat. Hardeners: - SD 5506 Very fast, laminating and bonding - SD 5505 Fast, laminating, bonding and fillets. - SD 5504 Standard, coating. - SD 5503 Slow, laminating, bonding. - SD 5502 Very slow, laminating, bonding, filling.
